Daughters – A Ray of Blessing, The Light of Society

          28th September marks International Daughter’s Day. This day reminds us that daughters are not merely family members but a blessing and a source of light for society. History shows that in times of ignorance, daughters were considered a burden and even buried alive. At such a time, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ proclaimed that daughters are a mercy, not a burden.

The Prophet ﷺ was blessed with four daughters — Zaynab, Ruqayyah, Umm Kulthum, and Fatimah al-Zahra (RA). He treated them with love, respect, and rights, sending a clear message to all humanity: daughters bring prosperity and blessings to the home. Lady Fatimah al-Zahra (RA) was honored as “Leader of the Women of the Worlds”. The Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever raises daughters with care and kindness will be promised Paradise.” (Tirmidhi)

Unfortunately, even today, daughters face injustice — female foeticide, domestic violence, and dowry practices are still prevalent. These acts are not only against humanity but also a stain on our conscience.

Islam granted daughters equal rights in education, inheritance, and skill development. Great women like Lady Aisha (RA) demonstrated that daughters can excel in knowledge, skills, and social leadership. Today, empowering daughters with education and skill development is essential for the progress of families and society.

International Daughter’s Day is not merely a celebration, but a reminder: daughters are a mercy, not a burden. By following the teachings of the Prophet ﷺ and ensuring dignity, education, and skills for daughters, society can eliminate injustice and move toward a brighter future.

H-1B Visa Becomes the World’s Costliest Deal, Raising Concerns for Indian IT Industry

New Delhi: The H-1B visa — a lifeline for thousands of Indian engineers working in the United States — has now turned into the world’s most expensive deal, sparking alarm across the technology sector.

Indian IT giants such as Infosys, TCS, Wipro, and HCL heavily depend on the H-1B program for deploying talent to the US. With the new policy changes, industry experts warn of significant consequences:

Rising project costs

Risks to business continuity

Shrinking profit margins

Industry body NASSCOM has issued a strong warning, stating that implementing such a policy on short notice will pose a serious challenge for Indian IT firms.

The implications, however, extend beyond Indian companies. US clients will also be forced to bear higher costs for projects outsourced to India, potentially impacting global business dynamics.

Analysts believe this development could push Indian IT companies to redesign their strategies and cost models, marking a game-changing moment for the global tech industry.

Now, the big question remains: Will this move slow down talent migration, or open up new opportunities for the industry?

📢 New UPI Rules: Effective from September 15

🔹 What is changing?

The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has announced changes in the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) rules. These changes mainly apply to high-value online transactions.

🔹 When will the new rule take effect?

👉 From September 15, 2025

🔹 Who will be affected?

PhonePe users

Paytm users

Google Pay (GPay) users

And all other UPI-based app users

🔹 What’s the new transaction limit?

For verified merchants, the daily UPI transaction limit will now be ₹10 lakh per day.

This will apply to payments such as:

Stock market investments

Insurance premium payments

Credit card bill payments

Other large online transactions

🔹 What will remain unchanged?

Person-to-person (P2P) transactions will still have the same limit of ₹1 lakh per day.

✅ Direct benefit

Users won’t need to split high-value payments into multiple smaller transactions anymore.

Moon not seen in Saudi Arabia

Dehradun (Amanullah Usmani) At present, preparations are going on for Eid in the entire country including India. Afraad are eagerly waiting for the moon of Eid. Whereas, according to the Islamic calendar, Ramadan is the 9th month of every year and the 10th month is Shawwal. In this month, Muslims all over the world offer Eid ul-Fitr prayers. The holy month of Ramzan is about to be completed, today there are 28 fasts in India. Meanwhile, the moon has not been sighted in Saudi Arabia today i.e. on 8th April, i.e. now on 10th April, the moon will be sighted in Saudi Arabia on 9th April and Eid ul-Fitr prayers will be offered on 10th April. If the moon is sighted in Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Egypt, Turkey, Iran, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and other countries of the Middle East and West today i.e. on the evening of 8 April, then Eid will be on the next day i.e. 09 It is celebrated on April, but today the moon has not been sighted, hence the moon will be sighted tomorrow and Eid prayers will be offered in these countries on 10th April. Whereas, if we talk about India, here the moon is seen on 9th April, so Eid is celebrated on the next day i.e. 10th April. However, the moon has not been seen in Saudi Arabia today, which clearly means that the moon will be seen in India on 10th April and Eid prayers will be offered on 11th April. People in India will keep fast till 10th April. That means, the moon will be seen in India on 10th April and Eid ul-Fitr prayers will be offered on 11th April.

Delhi (Shibli Rampuri) After reaching the Dargah of Hazrat Nizamuddin in Delhi, the French President listened to Qawwali for a long time and while presenting the flowers of his faith, he also acquired information about the Sufi tradition.
French President Emmanuel Macron reached the Dargah of Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya in Delhi late evening. Where he also participated in the Qawwali gathering and also attended the Dargah. It is worth noting that Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya was a great Sufi saint. He did social service without any discrimination all his life and Hazrat Nizamuddin was always at the forefront in helping the poor. People of all religions reach the Dargah of Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya and offer their faith there.

Emmanuel Macron was the chief guest at the 75th Republic Day celebrations held on the road of duty in Delhi. Late in the evening he reached the Dargah of Hazrat Nizamuddin where he was welcomed by the Dargah Committee.

Gaza people become inspiration for 30 Australian women

At least 30 women announced their conversion to Islam at the Meadow Heights Mosque in Melbourne, Australia after being deeply moved and witnessing Palestinians’ strong faith amid a recent Israeli military offensive.

A video posted on Instagram by Turkish newspaper Yeni Şafak, showcasing women in the mosque pronouncing Shahadah, a testament of faith, prompted by a preacher.

Jacqueline Retzack who recently converted to Islam said, “I converted due to the ongoing conflict and I wanted to be closer to Islam and Gaza.”

Christine Crnogonac expressed her profound connection to the concept of one God in Islam and the inspiration it provides for the Palestinian struggle.

“The issues in Palestine… it just makes me cry on a daily basis,” she added.

In a similar instance, American activist and TikToker Megan Rice in November converted to Islam after she was inspired by the resilience of people in Gaza and started reading the Quran.

Israel has been waging a devastating war on Gaza since October 7, causing extensive infrastructure damage and causing more than 20,600 civilian deaths primarily children and women.
