Those children who have not been honored due to some reason will also be given a chance. On this occasion, Tanzeem Ahmed said that in this era of competition, students will have to work hard and prove themselves different from others, only then they can achieve any position. He said that without education there is darkness in life. Therefore, it is very important to be educated. On this occasion, President of Anjuman Irtaqa e Adab, Syed Sanaul Haq said that his organization has taken the initiative to make the Muslim society aware about education. The Muslim society has also become more aware about education than before. Such programs will continue to be organized in future to bring more awareness in them. Congress leader Rao Afaque Ali said that education has become very important today.

Pravasi Uttarakhandi Sammelan to be held in Dehradun on 07 November.

Dehradun (Amanullah Usmani) Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Saturday launched the website of Pravasi Uttarakhand Cell www.pravasiuttarakhandi.uk.gov.in at the Secretariat. The website of Pravasi Uttarakhand Cell has been prepared through ITDA. Through the website, information about various policies, programs and activities of the state government will be provided to the migrants.

The Chief Minister directed the officials to organize a grand conference in Dehradun on the occasion of the proposed Pravasi Uttarakhand Diwas on 07 November 2024 by inviting the migrants living in different states of the country. He said that everyone is connected to their motherland. The state government is trying to take the cooperation of the migrants of Uttarakhand for the development of the state and provide them every possible support to connect with their motherland. He said that the migrants of our Uttarakhand have made their own identity on the strength of their work in the country and the world. He said that we should have regular contact with all the people of Uttarakhand living in the country and the world. Our effort is to be a partner in every happiness and sorrow.

The Chief Minister directed the officials to invite the migrant Uttarakhandis living abroad and organize a big conference in the state soon. The database of all the migrant Uttarakhandis living abroad should be kept updated. He said that the way our migrant brothers and sisters are welcomed grandly during foreign trips, it clearly reflects their attachment to their ancestral land and their connection with their culture.

The Migrant Uttarakhand Cell has been established in the state with the objective of making the state government reach out to the Uttarakhandi migrants residing in different countries and different states of India from the state of Uttarakhand and to connect the migrant Uttarakhandis with their motherland, to take advantage of their expertise, experience and financial capabilities in the development of the state and to honor the migrants with notable achievements. For the convenience of the migrants living abroad, links to the Ministry of External Affairs of the Government of India and its important schemes have also been given on the website. The cell has collected contact details of migrant organizations and eminent migrants working within the country and abroad from various sources. So far, contact has been established with expatriate Uttarakhandis living in 18 countries.

On this occasion, Chief Secretary Mrs. Radha Raturi, Secretary R. Meenakshi Sundaram, Dr. B.V.R.C. Purushottam, Dipendra Chaudhary, S.N. Pandey, Director General of Information Banshidhar Tiwari, Director ITDA Mrs. Nitika Khandelwal, member of Overseas Uttarakhand Cell Sudhir Chandra Nautiyal and related officers were present.

Instructions given to pay special attention to the repair and cleanliness of internal roads in municipal bodies

All roads should be made pothole free by October 15. Work should be done on a war footing to normalize the situation in all the areas affected by heavy rains in the state. Secretaries, department heads and all district magistrates should regularly review the reconstruction works. Physical verification of the works that have been completed should be done. The roads which are still closed should be made operational as soon as possible. Arrangements should be made for permanent treatment of roads at places sensitive from the disaster point of view. Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami gave these instructions to the officials during the review of the Disaster Management and Rehabilitation Department on Tuesday.

The Chief Minister directed the officials to normalize all the conditions in the disaster affected areas of the state. It should be ensured that the general public does not face any kind of problem. For this, all the departments should work in coordination and solve the problems. The loss caused in the disaster affected areas should be assessed and compensation should be given as per the standards. All the District Magistrates should work towards making their districts ideal districts. The process of displacement of people from the villages should also be done soon. The Chief Minister directed the District Magistrates to regularly conduct on-site inspection of various arrangements of the districts.

The Chief Minister directed the officials to ensure foolproof arrangements to prevent water-borne diseases after the rainy season. The Chief Minister has directed the Health Department to run regular awareness campaigns to prevent water-borne diseases. He has given strict instructions to the officials that any kind of negligence in the cleanliness system will not be tolerated. Along with the cleanliness system in hospitals, the Chief Minister has given instructions to provide all the basic facilities to the patients. He has given instructions to take special care of the repair and cleanliness of internal roads in Municipal Corporations, Municipal Councils and Nagar Panchayats.

A total amount of Rs 427.87 crore has been allocated for protection from natural disaster in the state in the financial year 2024-25. In this, Rs 386.87 crore has been released from the State Disaster Relief Fund, Rs 15 crore from the State Sector Reduction Item and Rs 26 crore from the State Sector Non SDRF Item. An additional amount of Rs 95 crore is being given to the departments for the restoration and rehabilitation item of the State Disaster Relief Fund. For this, an amount of Rs 50 crore is being given to the Public Works Department, Rs 15 crore to PMGSY, Rs 20 crore to Drinking Water Corporation and Rs 10 crore to UPCL.

Former shooting ball players of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand honored

Roorkee- A felicitation ceremony was organized today to honor former shooting ball players of Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh. More than fifty players from both the states were honored in the program organized by Roorkee Shooting Ball Club. The program was presided over by senior player Yashpal. MP Chandrashekhar Azad welcomed on his arrival in Mumbai

Whoever is subjected to injustice, I stand with him strongly.

Chandrashekhar, MP from Nagina, Uttar Pradesh, said that we all have to unite and fight all kinds of hatred with mutual brotherhood and unity.

The laborer’s wages should be paid before his sweat dries

It is a very strange and regrettable thing of the present times that without thinking and knowing anything, many people start speaking nonsense about the Prophet of Islam. Actually, the reason behind this is that they do not have any information and they believe whatever they hear from here and there whereas the truth is completely opposite to this.

There are many people who think that the teachings of Prophet of Islam Hazrat Saheb are only for Muslims and he has given the message only for the welfare of Muslims, whereas this is not completely true because there are many such teachings of Prophet of Islam which are for the welfare of the entire human race. In which he has given a big teaching in favor of laborers and such a thing has been said in favor of laborers that if it is listened to seriously and implemented then probably no poor person will remain poor because most of the people remain poor because they do not get their wages. They are not paid for their hard work. There is a famous hadith (statement) of Prophet of Islam that the wages of the laborer should be paid before his sweat dries. If it is said in simple words, it means that a laborer who is working for someone, whether in a factory, or in any job, anywhere, if that laborer is working for someone, then his wages, his wages, his remuneration should be given to him before his sweat dries. Its simple meaning is that his wages should be given before he finishes his work so that he does not face any kind of problem and it is obvious that when a person gets his wages on time or before time, then not only will a passion to work be born in him, but he will also be very happy on getting his wages.

Now just think about whether this is happening. In fact, many such cases come up among the Muslims themselves where the labourers are not paid their wages on time. This proves that the teachings of Prophet of Islam Hazrat Sahib are not only for Muslims but they are for the welfare of the whole mankind and those who speak nonsense about him actually do not have knowledge and they are speaking so out of ignorance. If they will read about the Prophet of Islam, then they will know the reality that his teachings are not only for Muslims but are for the welfare of the whole mankind and will always be so.

Former minister in Maharashtra and senior Congress leader Arif Naseem Khan also congratulated on Eid ul Miladunnabi.

Former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and National President of Samajwadi Party Akhilesh Yadav also congratulated, while Bihar’s youth leader Tejashwi Yadav congratulated on social media platform and wrote that ‘heartiest congratulations to all of you on Eid Milad-un-Nabi’.

       Citizens For Peace’ expresses concern at ‘Uttarakhand Situation*

Dehradun: Members of the ‘Citizens For Peace’ organisation have stated that they are deeply disturbed and troubled by the manner in which social and economic life in Uttarakhand is continually being disrupted by sectarian elements apparently with known political support. According to them, “This situation has been aggravated in the last few months and weeks due to the administration’s inaction in upholding the Rule of Law.

“The recent events directed essentially against minorities at Paltan Bazaar (Dehradun), at Chauras (Kirtinagar Block, Tehri), in Ghat block (Chamoli district), at Jhulaghat (Pithoragarh district), and in Uttarkashi have pained us deeply. We are particularly distressed to find that in many cases families which have lived in the state for more than a quarter century and in some cases even around half a century are reportedly being humiliated, uprooted and displaced. In some cases, the targets have included young children. There have reportedly been attempts to have their names struck off from school registers. A specific case in Chauras where a child’s name has been struck off due to pressure, has in fact come to our notice.

“Signboards have come up in Rudraprayag and Chamoli directed against “outsiders”. These have necessarily to be read in the context of the campaign seeking to delegitimise the presence of certain minority communities even when they are as much Indian citizens as are members of the majority community. The Constitution of India bestows on all Indian citizens the right to live and practice their livelihood anywhere in the country. Uttarakhand has long been the home of plural communities. In the atmosphere now prevailing there have been assaults and even cases of violence. Apart from Muslims, Christians have also been targeted, as happened recently in the heart of Dehradun.

“It is imperative that the Rule of Law be upheld immediately, that targeting of minorities cease and that all administrative action be fair and just. If not curbed, the unchecked activities of mobs which appear to act almost like private armies not bound by any law have serious implications. Not only are they damaging the social fabric of the state and the country, but they also affect the future progress of Uttarakhand state. An atmosphere of fear has been created which is also responsible for the apparent public apathy.

“We do welcome and appreciate the conduct of those officials who did not succumb to mob pressure and who stood by the Constitution of India. It is to be expected that the administration at large too would demonstrate a greater resolve to ensure normalcy, so that all sections of the people are able to pursue the ordinary course of their lives with a sense of security. It is also expected that, if the administration fails to show adequate sensitivity or consciousness of its responsibility, the Judiciary should take suo motu notice of the grave situation in the state and direct effective remedial action.

“In the last resort, if institutions fail in their duty or become ineffective, citizens must shake off their apathy and ensure that peace and the Rule of Law are preserved. Towards this end we believe that it is vitally necessary that All Party Committees for Peace are also set up at the State, district and block levels. We hope that such committees will be speedily established. Political parties are expected to play a leadership role in upholding the Constitution. We are constrained to observe a growing gap between their words and action on the ground.”

A group of pilgrims reached Piran Kaliyar after travelling on foot from Bareilly Sharif

Like every year, in the 756th annual Urs of the world famous Dargah Sabir Pak, this time also a group of about 150 pilgrims from Bareilly Sharif reached Piran Kaliyar carrying the Sabri flag after travelling a distance of about 264 kilometers on foot. Where Sahibzada Shah Yawar Manzar Ejaz Sabri gave a grand welcome to Wasim Sabri, who was leading the group, with flower garlands. After this, the ceremony of Parcham Kushai (flag hoisting) was performed at the main gate of Dargah Sabir Pak under the patronage of Namaz-e-Asr Sajjada Nashin.

Let us tell you that, on the beginning of the 756th annual Urs of Piran Kaliyar Sabir Pak, the ceremony of hoisting the flag at the main gate was performed by Sajjadanashin Shah Ali Ejaz Sabri in the presence of thousands of devotees. It is said that Wasim Sabri had set out on a pilgrimage to Piran Kaliyar with this flag along with a group of about 150 people.

Wasim Sabri said that he reached Piran Kaliyar on Wednesday after a 15-day trek with his companions Kamal Sabri, Salim Sabri, Saeed Sabri, Rizwan Sabri, Imran Sabri, Hasan Sabri, Shahid Sabri and others. He said that at many places on the way, the admirers of Sabir Pak welcomed the entire group with great enthusiasm.

Sahabzada Shah Yawar Ejaz Sabri said that the Urs of Sabir Pak was started with the ceremony of Parcham Kushai with great devotion and love under the patronage of Sajjadanashin Shah Ali Ejaz Sabri. Along with this, during the ceremony, prayers were offered for the peace and prosperity of the country while praying for the thousands of devotees present in the ceremony. However, a heavy police force was also present on the spot during this time.

Yawar Mian said that the first ceremony of the Urs is Mehndi Dori. After that the Urs formally begins. The Mehndi Dori ritual was performed late on Wednesday night. After which the Urs began.
