5th All India Tennis Ball Cricket Championship begins 

Anshul Singh, Vice Chairman, Roorkee Development Authority inaugurated the championship.

The fifth All India Tennis Ball Cricket Championship organized by Uttarakhand Tennis Ball Cricket Association started today at Nehru Stadium. Anshul Singh, Vice Chairman, Roorkee Development Authority, inaugurated the championship as the chief guest. Addressing the inaugural ceremony, he gave sports tips to the young players. He said that regular practice and discipline along with concentration take players to their destination. There are many opportunities in life for young players. The ability to make the right decision at the right time helps in moving forward.

Uttarakhand Tennis Ball Cricket Association President Deshraj Karnwal welcomed the Chief Guest and said that as diligent and passionate as an administrative officer, Anshul Singh also contributes his full contribution as a player. Today, I am happy that he has joined this event as a player among the players. Chief Guest Anshul Singh inaugurated the championship by batting and bowling. The program was conducted by Amjad Usmani. On this occasion, Uttarakhand Secretary Imran Sadiq, Delhi Secretary Usman Siddiqui, PS Rawat, Laxmikant Patel, Aslam Warsi, Sonu Badungar, Anees Gaur, Manish Saini, Kamal Chawla, Arsalan, Bharat Bhushan, Anil Bhaskar, Shakeel Ahmed etc. were present. In the inaugural match of the championship, Uttarakhand registered a sensational win over Pondicherry by one run in Pool A.
