5th All India Tennis Ball Cricket Championship begins in Roorkee today 

         

The fifth All India Tennis Ball Cricket Championship is being organized by the Uttarakhand Tennis Ball Cricket Association from 24 to 26 April 2025 at Nehru Stadium Roorkee. Twenty men’s teams including Pondicherry, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Purvanchal, Mumbai, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand will participate in the tournament. The championship will be inaugurated by Haridwar-Roorkee Development Authority Vice Chairman Mr. Anshul Singh on April 24 at 10 am and prize distribution will be done by Mr. Karmendra Singh, District Officer, Haridwar on April 26 at 4 pm. Uttarakhand Tennis Ball Cricket Association President Deshraj Karnwal said that the winning team will be given a cash prize of Rs 25,000, the runner-up will be given Rs 21,000, the third place will be Rs 11,000 and the fourth place team will be given Rs 5,000. Apart from this, the best bowler and bets man of the championship will also be awarded.
