Now the government should remove the last thorn in PoK. Former Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Harish Rawat has welcomed the Supreme Court’s decision on Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir. Said, the Supreme Court has found a universally acceptable solution to another bitter issue of this country, the court should be thanked for this.

Said, now the Central Government should also find a solution to Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK), the whole country is together for this work. Former Chief Minister Rawat, who is often in the news for his statements, said that the implementation of Article 370 was not a mistake, but there was a historical need at the time when it was implemented.

Said, Article 370 was implemented to take the people of Kashmir into confidence to counter the aggressive attitude of Pakistan and the conspiracy of some global powers. With time, every government diluted the provisions of Article 370. Now the Supreme Court has found an acceptable solution.

Said, we believe that now that the context of Article 370 has finally ended. Then, the last thorn in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) must also be uprooted. There is also a resolution of Parliament for this. PoK is an integral part of India. Today’s Pakistan is economically poor, broken and divided. There is dissatisfaction in PoK also. The government should remove this thorn also.
