Selection of Dr. Rinku Chhaukkar in Post Doctoral Fellowship
Will do research in the Yoga Science Department of Uttarakhand Sanskrit University, Haridwar
Haridwar. Dr. Rinku Chhaukkar, who has done PhD from Gurukul Kangri University, has been selected for postdoctoral fellowship. They will research on the benefits of Yoga for human life and its techniques.
Dr Rinku, an alumnus of Gurukul Kangri University, applied for the Post Doctoral Fellowship conducted by ICSSR (Indian Counseling Social Science Research), New Delhi. After doing the interview etc. process, he was selected for the Yoga Science Department of Uttarakhand Sanskrit University, Haridwar. Now Dr. Rinku will do research on the subject of Yoga. Dr. Rinku said that about three thousand candidates from across the country had applied for this fellowship, out of which 250 have been selected for the fellowship. Dr. Rinku will be the first postdoctoral fellow of the Department of Yoga Sciences and will pursue research work under the direction of Professor Kamakhya Kumar of the department. Dr. Rinku had done her research on the Vedic works of Yogaguru Baba Ramdev, health benefits of Yoga, and the work being done on Ayurveda in the country. Dr. Rinku is originally a resident of Panipat, Haryana and started studying at Gurukul Kangri University in 2016.
