Dehradun – CM Pushkar Singh Dhami is on a tour of Delhi these days. CM met PM Modi on Thursday. During this, he presented products based on the famous copper craft of Bageshwar to the PM. Also gave detailed information about various works being done for grounding of investment during the Global Investors Summit-2023. At the same time, the respected Prime Minister was informed about starting the Cooperative Kisan Samriddhi Card Scheme (NaMo Cooperative Armor Card) in order to protect the families of all the members associated with the cooperative in case of any sudden accident.

The Chief Minister informed the Prime Minister that in view of the urbanization taking place in the state, work is being done on a plan to develop “four new townships”. In which there are plans to build two in the hilly areas and two in the plain areas. Under the state’s AYUSH Policy-2023, additional subsidy of 5 percent to 10 percent is being provided as top-up on investments in various sectors. Through the State Tourism Policy, 2023, capital assistance of up to 50 percent to wellness resorts/Ayurveda/Yoga/Naturopathy resorts and additional capital assistance of 5 percent to wellness centers/Ayurveda/Yoga/Naturopathy resorts to be established in Category B and Category C areas. Assistance is being provided. “Uttarakhand State Millet Mission” has been implemented from the year 2023-24 to the year 2027-28 (05 years). Under the “State Integrated Cooperative Development Project”, work is being successfully done on joint cooperative farming, silage, poultry valley, goat valley, milk production, trout farming, mushroom production, bee production etc. through cooperative institutions in the state.

The Chief Minister also informed the Prime Minister that special efforts are being made by the state to ground the agreements reached at the Investor Summit. An online portal has been prepared for monitoring of the MOU. Proposals for three food parks have been received in the state. IT Park 2 is being established in Dehradun. To provide land to industries, SIDCUL is developing new industrial estates in Kashipur, Sitarganj, Rudrapur, Haridwar and Dehradun.Chharba in Dehradun is being developed as an education city while Knowledge Park is being developed in Udham Singh Nagar district. The Chief Minister said that in order to provide benefits of services like social security to the members of the cooperative in case of an accidental accident, “Cooperative Kisan Samriddhi Card Yojana” will be started, under which the card to be distributed will be named “Namo Cooperative Armor Card”. “It is proposed to be done.
