Devbhoomi Patrakar Union hoisted the flag

*Dehradun, 26 January.* The strong union of journalists of the state “Devbhoomi Patrakar Union” (regd.) hoisted the flag today on the occasion of 76th Republic Day at the state office located on Saharanpur Road. The flag hoisting was done by the state president of the union, Anil Verma.

On this occasion, in his address, Anil Verma said that on this day the citizens of the country got their constitution to protect their rights. It is a matter of great pride that Indians living in the country and abroad are celebrating the 75th anniversary of Republic Day. India, the world’s largest democracy, is once again moving towards becoming a world leader.

Senior Vice President Pandit Subhash Chandra Joshi said that the union deserves congratulations for starting the tradition of flag hoisting on the national festival. The country comes first, everything else comes later. Apart from these, Dr. V.D. Sharma, Dr. Jamshed Usmani, Raj Chhabra, Naveen Joshi etc. expressed their views. On this occasion, Mrs. Vinod Uniyal, Sarojini Semwal, Mrs. Manju Verma, Bhuvan Upadhyay, Rajesh Bhatnagar, Surya Prakash Sharma, Rajat Sharma, Gaurav Bhardwaj, Rohit Rawat, Shivang Gupta, NK Gupta, Honey Chhabra, Hitesh Sharma, Manmohan Sharma etc. were mainly present.
