Muslim Seva Sangath called the action of sealing madrasas and mosques as malicious
Dehradun. Muslim society, Muslim Seva Sangath and Tanzeem Rahnumae Millat gheraoed MDDA against the action of sealing madrasas and mosques in the month of Ramzan.
The repressive action of the administration was not limited to madrasas only, going further, MDDA has taken action to seal and close the mosque located at Dhakrani. There is anger in the Muslim society due to this unjust action. In protest against this action, Muslim Seva Sangath reached the MDDA office and expressed its protest. Muslim Seva Sangath President Naeem Qureshi said that the way the Dehradun administration is taking action against the people of one religion will not be tolerated. In his address, Vice President of Muslim Seva Sangathan, Aqib Qureshi said that on any festival, the police and the district administration treat people with harmony, but the action of sealing madrasas and mosques in the holy month of Ramzan is not only unjust but also malicious. Talks were held with MDDA Secretary Mohan Singh Barniya. He assured appropriate action on the demands of the organization. Time for talks with MDDA VC was given on Friday. On this occasion, organization general secretary Saddam Qureshi, Tanzeem Rahnumae Millat president Latafat Hussain, former Bar Council Uttarakhand president Razia Baig, Muslim Seva Sangathan Pachhadun president Ayyub Hasan, Muslim Seva Sangathan treasurer Mudassir Qureshi, media in-charge Rameez Raja, Qamar Khan, founder member Nazim Zaidi, Akram Khan, former mayor candidate Sardar Khan, Rashid Qureshi, Qari Akram, Salim Shah, Khurshid Ahmed, Nazim Khan and Tanveer etc. were present.
