Roorkee (Amanullah Usmani) Anjuman Irtaqa-e-Adab honoured the talented students of high school and intermediate by giving them medals, mementos and certificates, while senior citizens were also honoured by giving them gifts. Apart from a large number of Muslim students, their family members also attended the programme organised in the Nagar Nigam Hall.

During this, prominent social worker Mujeeb Malik who arrived as the chief guest said that Muslim students should acquire worldly and technical education along with religious education so that they can easily get employment. He said that no society can progress without education, therefore education is very important. He said that till the time the Muslim society is not educated, it cannot develop.

He said that along with studies, children should learn good values and learn to respect their parents as well as their teachers. He said that this is a good effort of Tanzeem. Those children who have not been honored due to some reason will also be given a chance. On this occasion, Tanzeem Ahmed said that in this era of competition, students will have to work hard and prove themselves different from others, only then they can achieve any position. He said that without education there is darkness in life. Therefore, it is very important to be educated. On this occasion, President of Anjuman Irtaqa e Adab, Syed Sanaul Haq said that his organization has taken the initiative to make the Muslim society aware about education. The Muslim society has also become more aware about education than before. Such programs will continue to be organized in future to bring more awareness in them. Congress leader Rao Afaque Ali said that education has become very important today.

Today’s society is incomplete without education, so make sure your children get a good education. He said that he will keep organizing such programs every year.
