Amaanusmani

Muzaffarnagar – Shakti Singh, the presiding officer of Additional District and Sessions Court No. 7, has made strict remarks in the decision of Rampur Tiraha incident in Muzaffarnagar. He wrote that the Rampur Tiraha incident on the birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation is shameful for humanity. The court has also written in its 108 page decision that the incident took place on the day of Gandhi Jayanti. Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi, who inspired the common people to follow the path of truth and non-violence, who led innumerable movements to liberate the country. The heinous crime of rape, molestation and robbery of a woman who was going to participate in the movement on the birth anniversary of such a great personality is shameful for the entire humanity.

The accused behaved brutally and inhumanly with the women agitators who were protesting for the demand of a separate state. It is the fundamental right of any person to participate in a peaceful movement subject to the rules.

To violate this fundamental right, no person has the right to commit a brutal act like gang rape on a woman. If such a person is part of the police force, then the seriousness of his crime increases further.

The perpetrators of the crime were not ordinary people, rather the responsibility of protecting the common people was on their shoulders. If such a person himself gets involved in an incident like rape, then it is extremely painful for the entire system.

Therefore deprived of sympathy

Uttar Pradesh Police Force is the largest police force in the country, which has produced many brave police officers and personnel. I don’t know how many policemen have been martyred to protect the common people. The kind of conduct displayed by accused Milap Singh and Virendra Pratap, despite being part of such a glorious police force, deprives them of any sympathy of this Court.

The court also wrote

Police officers and employees are expected to be sensitive towards the victims. The sensitivity that has been shown by the Muzaffarnagar district police in providing security to the witnesses during the trial, the kind of conduct done by the accused Milap Singh and Virendra Pratap on the land of the same district, makes them liable for the harshest punishment. .
