BSP is weakening and 2024 Lok Sabha elections are ahead
*Mountain of challenges in front of Akash Anand*
Lucknow (Shibli Rampuri) After BSP supremo Mayawati declared her nephew Akash Anand as her successor, the discussion is gaining momentum whether he will be able to change the weak position of Bahujan Samaj Party to strength and the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2024 in which BSP will win. The supremo has decided that if we will contest the elections alone, then achieving success in the Lok Sabha elections will be a big challenge. Samajwadi Party MP Shafiq Urrahman Barq has said that declaring Akash Anand as his successor will not bring much change in the party because Mayawati herself will take all the decisions.
Akash Anand is the son of Anand Kumar, younger brother of BSP supremo Mayawati. Akash has obtained MBA degree from a big college in London. Akash was active in the party for the last several years. To connect the youth, Akash had taken the responsibility of the recently held assembly elections of three states. He was given a huge responsibility by the BSP supremo and he is continuously working hard for the party, but it is also a bitter reality that the party’s support base has become very weak and in such a situation, Akash Anand is responsible for bringing the party back to this strong position. It will be no less than a challenge.
After the declaration of Akash Anand as his successor by the BSP supremo, discussion has started in political circles.
SP MP from Sambhal, UP, Shafiqur Rahman Barq had this to say that some circumstances may change. If he remains obedient to Mayawati, then whatever Mayawati wants will happen. But Mayawati made Akash her successor, he is her nephew. On this I understand that perhaps there will not be much change. Even with their creation, he will not be independent enough to do all the work himself, he will have to take advice from Mayawati only. However, it will be interesting to see what wonders Akash Anand can do in the Bahujan Samaj Party after getting such a big responsibility. His biggest test will be in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
