Roorkee -The annual academic prize distribution ceremony was celebrated with great pomp at St. Mark’s Academy Senior Secondary School, Delhi Road. All the students participated in the program with full enthusiasm. The students enthralled the guests present by presenting colorful programs in the program.

The program was inaugurated by Prof. who arrived as the chief guest. Mahesh Chandra, Fellow Member, Institute of Engineers and Chartered Engineers and special guest Professor Ashraf Iqbal, Research Scholar and School Director Kunwar Javed Iqbal jointly lit the torch and lamp. After that Saraswati Vandana was performed by the students. Garhwali dance, Blooming Star dance, Kathak dance, Zumba, Yoga were mainly presented in the colorful program.

Chief guest Prof. While addressing the students, Mahesh Chandra said that hard work is necessary for success, only then the results of hard work lead to success. He congratulated the students for their success in the annual examinations. Pro. Addressing the students, Ashraf Iqbal said that moving forward in life should be the same goal. Unless you set a goal in your life, you cannot climb the path of success. Therefore hard work and honesty are necessary. School Director Kunwar Javed Iqbal said in his address that this sapling, which was planted in the year 2000, has traveled a long journey of 23 years and today has become a fruitful tree. It is hard to realize how fast time goes. He said that the small children who were there at the time of opening of the school are now in the category of parents themselves. Many fruits nurtured by this tree-like school were provided from time to time. Some of which are so precious that they are never forgotten by the school or family. Among such precious gems of the school are Shubham Chaudhary who is currently an international level player in Judo and Sandeep Pal who is a national level player in gymnastics. But it is with great sadness that we have to inform that Sandeep Pal became the victim of an accident during a sports performance. The school family wishes him well. There are many such gems of this school who are at high positions in their respective fields and are making efforts. Priya Iyer presented the annual report of the school. Principal Azra Javed highly praised the performance of the students. Gave him good wishes. After that academic awards were given to the students. The program was conducted under the supervision of Priya Iyer, Shalini Saxena and Firdos Khan.

In the program, Kunwar Ziauddin Ahmed, Kunwar Parvez Ahmed, Janab Aslam Farooqui, Kunwar Ziaur Rahman, Khalil Ahmed, Brother Lawrence Gabriel, Sardar Surjit Singh Chandhauk, Kunwar Masoodjia, Kunwar Abdullah Javed, Kunwar Hatim Ibrahim Khan, Daufad Khan, Anita Sharma, Sudha Singh, Amrita Ojha, Yasmin, Divya Kotonala, Neha Sharma, Vineeta Godian, Anshika Tomar, Tahura Shamim, Bindu Tyagi, Prachi Rana, Honey Tyagi, Akansha Bansal, Akansha Salar, Amit Verma, Mohsin, Himanshu etc. and all the students were present.
