Mangalore – In Mangalore, Syed Jamal Kazmi conducted the pilgrimage of the holy “Baal Mubarak” of the Prophet of Islam Hazrat Mohammad Sahib to the devotees in the traditional manner at the house of Qazi Margoob in Mohalla Qila, Mangalore.
Hundreds of devotees took darshan of the “Bal Mubarak” of Mohammad Sahib’s beard along with Kalma and Darood Sharif and prayed for peace and security in the country.
Qazi Jamal told that this holy child Mubarak has been in his family for about 750 years, whose Ziyarat has been happening continuously since then without any stop.
International poet and writer Afzal Mangalori told that according to the “Shahnama” of historian ‘Firdausi’, the granddaughter of the ninth Sultan of the Delhi Sultanate dynasty, Ghiyasuddin Balban (1266-1284), was married in the Kazmi family, the landlord of Mangalore, as a gift. But King Balban had gifted the sacred hair of Mohammad Saheb, the sacred hair of Hazrat Ali, the hair of Hazrat Ghaus-e-Azam Baghdadi and the Quran Sharif written in the hand of Hazrat Imam Musa Kazim.
He told that only on the last Friday of Ramzan, the visit of this “Bal Mubarak” is organized.
