Frank remarks on the country’s current political situation; calls for vigilance against forces spreading hatred

A grand seminar titled “Jashn-e-Imam Hussain (A.S.)” was organized in Manglaur on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.), where several prominent personalities from across the country participated. The presence and address of Samajwadi Party MP from Kairana, Iqra Hasan, remained the major highlight of the historic event.

As soon as MP Iqra Hasan arrived at the seminar venue, the entire pandal echoed with loud applause. In her impactful speech, she openly expressed her views on the current political situation in the country. Criticizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi, she stated that “a Prime Minister who is afraid to attend Parliament is not the kind of leadership the country needs today.”

Iqra Hasan further said that the present circumstances in the country are becoming deeply concerning and that it is essential to stand firmly against forces spreading hatred. Referring to the Kotdwar incident, she praised Deepak Kumar and remarked that society needs courageous and aware Hindu brothers who can stand against those spreading hatred and poison. She emphasized that the time has come to remain vigilant against elements attempting to weaken the nation.

Her address not only became the most significant segment of the seminar but also left a strong message among the audience. During the program, Uttarakhand Waqf Board Chairman Shadab Shams briefly interrupted, stating that the platform was not meant for political speeches. Responding firmly, Iqra Hasan said that in the present times politics is also extremely important and that many issues cannot be resolved without it, after which she continued her address.
