Dehradun – A 12 year old child was attacked by a tiger on Canal Road. The child has been injured by a tiger attack. The passersby chased away the tiger after a lot of effort. The incident took place near Canal Road of Rajpur police station area. Here in Saundhowali, some children were playing near Rispana river. Meanwhile, Guldar attacked a child from behind. The child injured in the attack was admitted to Doon Hospital. There is an atmosphere of panic in the area after the incident. Police and forest department teams reached the spot and started searching for Guldar.
The incident took place near Canal Road of Rajpur police station area. Here, 12-year-old Nikhil Thapa, son of Sherbahadur Thapa, was playing with four-five of his friends on the banks of Rispana river in Saundhowali. When people heard the sound of children screaming at around 6.15 pm, they ran towards the spot. Saw that Nikhil was lying there in an injured condition. His friends told the people that they all were playing with the fire there. One of the henchmen attacked Nikhil from behind and started dragging him, but when they raised an alarm, the henchman ran away.
On the information of local people, outpost in-charge Jakhan Vikendra Singh also reached there with his team. He admitted Nikhil to Doon Hospital through emergency service 108. Nikhil got a big and deep wound on his head from the teeth of the henchman.
