Brahma Kumari BK Manju, Dr. Anand Bhardwaj, and Shri Gopal Narsan received the Bharat Gaurav Award, and Kunwar Raj Asthana was honored with the honorary degree of ‘Vidya Vachaspati’ (Doctorate).*

Hardwar-The annual convention and felicitation ceremony of Haridwar-Vikramshila Hindi Vidyapeeth, Bhagalpur, Bihar, was held in the auditorium of Uttarakhand Sanskrit Academy, Haridwar. Under the guidance of the institution’s Deputy Registrar, Dr. Premchand Pandey, Chief Guest Shyamveer Saini, Minister of State for the Uttarakhand Government, Special Guest Brahma Kumaris Sub-Zone Incharge Rajyogini BK Manju Didi, Director of Sanskrit Education Dr. Anand Bhardwaj, Vice Chancellor Dr. Dayanand Jaiswal, Vice Chancellor Dr. Shri Gopal Narsan, Professor Satendra Bhai from Mount Abu Brahma Kumaris Headquarters, and Dr. Vinod Babbar jointly lit the lamp to inaugurate the convention. Lyricist Anil Amrohi received applause by reciting Saraswati Vandana and the Vidyapeeth’s college song. In his welcome address, Dr. Anand Bhardwaj, Secretary of Uttarakhand Sanskrit Academy and Director of Sanskrit Education, said that if Sanskrit is the mother of languages, then Hindi is its daughter. He said that since ancient times, Vikramshila Hindi Vidyapeeth has been promoting Hindi in the country and the world and encouraging Hindi writers by awarding them Saraswat Samman. Three books, Atma Manthan and Shri Gopal Kavyadhara, written by Shikha Sharma, spokesperson of Army School, Roorkee, were presented. Adhyatma and Dadi aur Vibhav were also released on this occasion. In his address, Vice Chancellor of the University, Dr. Shrigopal Narsan, while mentioning the specialities of all the guests and the talents being honoured, said that it is a great pleasure for the sons and daughters of Saraswati to receive the Saraswat Samman on the banks of Mother Ganga. He described the spirituality and divine service of the brothers and sisters of the Brahma Kumaris organization present in the auditorium as inspiring and paid tribute to Brahma Kumaris General Secretary BK Brijmohan Bhai on his demise. Along with this, the literary contribution of senior litterateur Dr. Yogendra Nath Sharma Arun was also remembered. Chief guest Shyamveer Saini described Vikramshila Hindi Vidyapeeth as the pride of India for serving Hindi, while special guest Rajyogini BK Manju Didi gave information about the Rajyoga method of reaching God by staying in the soul form and said, this is also the path to becoming a god from a human being. On this occasion, senior poet Surendra Kumar Saini of Roorkee started the Kavi Sammelan with his Ghazal. Kunwar Raj Asthana from Dehradun, Vandana Gopal Sharma from Chhattisgarh, Ramesh Saini from Karnal, Savita Verma Ghazal from Muzaffarnagar, former Principal Ghanshyam Gupta, former Principal Ashok Sharma Arya, Naveen Sharan Nischal, Ajay Sharma, Principal Hemant Tiwari, Manu Shivpuri, BK Sushil Bhai, BK Meena Didi and BK Geeta Didi, Research Officer of the Academy Harishchandra Gururani, Kishori Lal Raturi, Acharya Bhanumitra Sharma, etc. were present in the program.
