Sparsh Himalayan Festival 2025 – Subharti University’s Outstanding Presentation at the International Literature, Culture, and Arts Festival

The three-day art exhibition, part of the *Sparsh Himalayan Festival 2025*, being held in Village Thano, Dehradun, concluded with great fanfare yesterday. Talented students from the *Dr. Mukti Bhatnagar School of Fine Arts and Fashion Design* of *Ras Bihari Bose Subharti University, Dehradun* captivated the audience with their art.

During this three-day art festival, 30 students from Subharti University brought the unique expressions of the Himalayas and the Ganga to life through their exquisite paintings, drawings, and creative performances. The exhibition venue became an “ocean of paintings,” where the creativity of Subharti’s artists captivated everyone’s attention.

Department Head *Mr. Santosh Kumar* gave the exhibition its special recognition with his magnificent paintings on the theme of ‘Ganga’. Meanwhile, the university’s emerging artist, *Mr. Ayush Kumar*, captivated everyone with a combined presentation of *Fine Arts and Performing Arts* as part of Dehradun’s *Silver Jubilee Cultural Series*.

Dr. Himanshu Aeran, Vice Chancellor of *Ras Bihari Bose Subharti University*, graced the occasion as the special guest of honor. Praising the students’ creativity at the closing ceremony, he said,

> *“Art is not just expression, but a confluence of culture and sensitivity. The aim of Subharti University is for our students to bring positive change to society through their skills and creativity. The way our students have brought the beauty of the Himalayas and the Ganga to life in this exhibition is truly inspiring.”

Dr. Aeran further stated that *Ras Bihari Bose Subharti University* is today known nationwide for its quality education and socially conscious initiatives. He added that the university provides its students not only with academic excellence but also with an environment of human values, artistic sensitivity, and creative freedom.

Faculty and students from the Dr. Mukti Bhatnagar School of Fine Arts and Fashion Design also expressed their gratitude for Dr. Aaron’s guidance and inspiration on this occasion. With the conclusion of the *Sparsh Himalayan Festival* in Dehradun, Subharti University left an echo of its artistic sensibility that will be long remembered.
