Uttarakhand Journalist Union Haridwar’s annual election
District President Pramod Giri, General Secretary Mahavir Negi and Treasurer Ritesh Tiwari became
Haridwar. On Sunday, an important meeting of Uttarakhand Journalist Union District Unit Haridwar was held at the district office located in Vivek Vihar under the chairmanship of outgoing District President Thakur Ravindra Singh and under the supervision of General Secretary Aavesh Ansari. During the meeting, Pramod Giri, General Secretary Mahavir Negi and Treasurer Ritesh Tiwari were unanimously elected as District President in the annual election. District President Ravindra Singh proposed Pramod Giri’s name for the post of District President and Aavesh Ansari proposed Mahavir Negi’s name for the post of General Secretary and Rupesh Walia proposed Ritesh Kumar Tiwari’s name for the post of Treasurer, to which everyone agreed. On this occasion, senior guides of Uttarakhand Journalist Union Haridwar unit, Ashwani Arora, Mudit Agarwal, Dr. Vishal Garg, Rupesh Walia, Pankaj Kaushik, Vikas Chauhan, Anand Goswami blessed the newly elected President Pramod Giri, General Secretary Mahavir Negi, and Treasurer Ritesh Tiwari by garlanding them. Ashwani Arora, Manish Kumar, Vasudev Rajput, Parveen Kumar, S. Ali, Kuldeep, Chandrashekhar Goswami, Rupesh Walia, Vikas Chauhan, Deepak Maurya, Dinesh Sharma, Vishal Goswami, R. Ahmed, Naushad Khan, Manisha Suri, Vijay Kumar Bansal were present on this occasion.
After the meeting, two minutes silence was observed for the peace of the souls of tourists killed in the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir.
