Dehradun – The number of voters in Uttarakhand has reached 83 lakh 36 thousand 780. This time the voters have increased by 99,922. In which there are 129062 voters in the age group of 18 to 19. Those who will vote for the first time. Releasing the final voter list, Chief Electoral Officer Dr V Shanmugam said, 11729 polling stations have been set up in the state.
Dehradun district has the highest number of voters in the state, 15 lakh 30 thousand 939. Whereas Rudraprayag district has the least number of voters at 1 lakh 94342. The Chief Electoral Officer said, the process of becoming a voter will continue. Those who are left out can apply to become voters at BLO, SDM, DM office or online. Transgenders are made aware to become voters through meetings. They should also come forward.
There are 154259 voters above 80 years of age in the state. Whereas there are 414114 voters in the age group of 70 to 79, 750563 in the age group of 60 to 69, 1186686 in the age group of 50 to 59, 1704523 in the age group of 40 to 49, 2244926 in the age group of 30 to 39, and 1659290 voters in the age group of 20 to 29.
In the state, the number of women in the age group above 100 years is more than male voters. Of the 1411 voters above 100 years of age, 853 are women and 558 are men. Whereas the number of disabled voters is 69974.
Not a single transgender in three districts
There is not a single transgender voter in the three districts of the state Rudraprayag, Bageshwar and Champawat. Maximum 138 transgender voters are in Haridwar district. Whereas there are two transgender voters in Uttarkashi, four in Chamoli, three in Tehri, 77 in Dehradun, 9 in Pauri, two in Pithoragarh, five in Almora, eight in Nainital and 38 in Udham Singh Nagar.
Rudraprayag is the only district in the state where the number of women voters is more than men. Out of 194342 voters in Rudraprayag district, 97767 are female and 96575 are male voters. Whereas in other districts the number of male voters is more than female voters.
