Hajj Committee directs selected applicants to complete medical examination and upload all required documents within the stipulated deadline

Dehradun: A total of 1,526 applicants selected from Uttarakhand for Hajj 2027 will now have to complete their medical examination and other mandatory formalities. The Uttarakhand State Hajj Committee has directed all selected applicants to submit their Medical Fitness Certificate and required documents by September 15, 2026.

Mohammad Arif, Executive Officer of the Uttarakhand State Hajj Committee, said that as per the circular issued by the Hajj Committee of India, Mumbai, selected applicants for Hajj 2027 are required to undergo a medical examination and upload the necessary documents. Under the Hajj Policy 2027, medical examination and fitness certification will be completed in two stages for every selected pilgrim. The first stage will be conducted at the time of selection, while the second will be completed before the Hajj journey.

Selected applicants have been advised to take a printout of the prescribed medical form available along with Circular No. 10 on the Hajj Committee of India website and undergo a medical examination by a government allopathic medical officer.

After getting their photograph affixed to the Medical Fitness Certificate and obtaining the medical officer’s signature, applicants must upload the certificate on the Pilgrim Login-2027 section of the Hajj Committee website by September 15.

Applicants must also upload the e-pay slip or online payment receipt for the first instalment of the Hajj fare.

In case applicants face difficulties with the online process, the Medical Fitness Certificate can be submitted before the deadline at the office of the Uttarakhand State Hajj Committee, Hajj House, Piran Kaliyar.

Selected applicants will also have to submit a signed copy of the Hajj Application Form, Declaration, Passport Declaration, two colour photographs with a white background, a cancelled cheque or photocopy of the bank passbook, and photocopies of the front and back pages of the passport.

If the applicant’s current address is different from the address mentioned in the passport, an address proof corresponding to the address provided in the Hajj application will also have to be submitted.

The committee has made it mandatory for applicants to self-sign all photocopies of the required documents.

The Hajj Committee has advised selected applicants to keep the original medical examination report and Medical Fitness Certificate safely, as these documents will have to be produced before the medical team during the second stage of medical examination and vaccination before the Hajj journey.

The committee has also clarified that if an applicant is found medically unfit according to the prescribed health standards, their candidature for the Hajj journey may be cancelled. In such a case, the deposited amount will be refunded as per the applicable rules.

However, if any applicant conceals important health or medical information or provides incorrect information, the deposited amount may be forfeited, and action may be taken against the applicant as per the rules.

The Uttarakhand State Hajj Committee has urged all selected applicants to complete their medical examination and document-related formalities within the prescribed deadline to avoid any difficulty in the further Hajj 2027 process.
