*Modi’s guarantee won the heart of Delhi*

In the Delhi Assembly elections, the aware people of the city

by bringing the Bharatiya Janata Party to power, have sent a message to the world that we have full faith in the guarantee of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and that only under Modi’s leadership can the country scale new heights of progress. After almost 27 years, the BJP government has returned to Delhi. This victory flag has been hoisted due to the clear vision of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. By endorsing Modi’s vision, the people of Delhi have expressed full faith in the double engine government. It is worth remembering that during the election campaign in Delhi, the Bharatiya Janata Party had given the slogan – “Modi’s vision is a ray of hope for Delhi.” The people of Delhi, by internalizing this slogan, made a strong attack on the misgovernance of the Aam Aadmi Party government and made the resolution of national development win. This victory is a victory of trust in Prime Minister Modi and BJP for improving the deteriorating condition of the country’s capital Delhi. This magnificent victory also carries the hidden message that the public of the country cannot be misled for long with the help of mere lies, deceit and criticism.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while beginning the assembly election campaign in Delhi, had said that “The year 2025 is bringing many new possibilities for India’s development. Our journey towards becoming the third largest economic power in the world is going to accelerate this year. Today, India has become a symbol of political and economic stability in the world, in 2025, this role of India will be further strengthened.” With this resolution, he had urged the voters to give BJP an opportunity to serve in Delhi. He had said – “You have not given the Bharatiya Janata Party a chance to work in Delhi for the last several years. You have seen Congress and AAP for 25 years, now give a chance to the lotus. Just like the head of a family takes care of his loved ones, I will take care of you in the same way. BJP’s track record shows that we fulfil whatever promise we make under all circumstances.”

Today, Modi’s guarantee has become synonymous with trust in the country. It is well known that ‘Modi’s guarantee’ means the fulfillment of every promise made to the public. People of all the states of the country trusted Modi’s guarantee and gave the Bharatiya Janata Party an opportunity to form the government and the governments there are doing better work in public interest. Now Delhi state has also joined that chain and the public has put Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call into action. If we talk about the past, then in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Uttarakhand, Goa, Maharashtra and Odisha, the public believed in the double engine government of BJP centered on Modi ji’s vision and gave it a bumper victory. The message of development and political stability in these BJP-ruled states also reached crores of people of Delhi. The people of Delhi, troubled by the corruption of the Aam Aadmi Party government, expressed their faith in Modi ji and as soon as they got the opportunity in the elections, they took a decision like the citizens of other states and gave the BJP government an opportunity to serve.

The BJP had said in its election promise that Delhi needs a government that will build houses for the poor, modernize the city, ensure water supply to every house, provide adequate electricity and free the city from tanker mafias. Prime Minister Shri Modi kept raising these issues in his public meetings, calling the Kejriwal government a disaster government, and when the time came, the people agreed with Modi ji and bid farewell to disaster from Delhi and embraced the BJP. The people had understood very well that the promises made by Arvind Kejriwal were not fulfilled at all. The Aam Aadmi Party, which came to power by promising to end corruption, and its leader broke all records of corruption. They made the capital Delhi a model of corruption, not development. Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal and most of his party leaders, who used to point fingers at the lifestyle of other leaders and talked about leading a simple life in politics, got drowned in the mire of corruption as soon as they came to power. Talks of morality vanished into oblivion. The leader who used to talk about serving the people by living in a two-three room house, built a palace of splendor and grandeur. On one hand, while the people of Delhi were struggling with many problems, on the other hand, the Chief Minister and the ministers and leaders of the Aam Aadmi Party government were enjoying their comforts. In these circumstances, the people expressed their trust in Modi ji’s guarantee by accepting the resolution of the double engine government of the Bharatiya Janata Party in exchange for the breach of promise of the Aam Aadmi Party.

The implications of this victory of the Bharatiya Janata Party in the Delhi Assembly elections are clear. It must be recalled that in May 2014, when Narendra Modi took over the responsibility of the Prime Minister of the country as the head of the NDA government, the political scenario in the states was different. At that time, there were governments of BJP and its allies in seven states of the country. Out of these, BJP was in power in five states – Chhattisgarh, Goa, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, while its allies were in power in Andhra Pradesh and Punjab. At that time, governments of Congress and its allies were in power in 14 states. These states included big states like Maharashtra and Karnataka. Over time, the country saw the work of the Modi government and understood the guarantee of Modi ji.
