Arts Internship Program Launched at Subharti University in Collaboration with National Art Forum and Lalit Kala Akademi

Dehradun: Under the joint aegis of National Art Forum and Lalit Kala Akademi, Delhi, the grand launch of the “Arts Internship Program,” a celebration of art and creativity, was held today at the Dr. Mukti Bhatnagar Subharti School of Fine Arts and Fashion Design, Rash Behari Bose Subharti University, Dehradun.
The program was inaugurated with the lighting of a lamp, attended by special guests Dr. Mamta Singh of M.K.P. College, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Himanshu Aeran, Avinav Deep and Neeraj from Lalit Kala Akademi, Delhi, senior artist Manoj Singh, Ms. Tanisha, and Head of the Fine Arts Department Santosh Kumar.

On this occasion, Chief Guest Dr. Mamta Singh was welcomed by Vice Chancellor Dr. Himanshu Aeran with a shawl and a memento. Avinav Deep, Neeraj, and Manoj Singh were also honored in the same manner.
During the program, guests shared inspiring insights related to art, creativity, and cultural consciousness. Mr. Avinav Deep, a member of the Lalit Kala Academy, said, “Young artists should connect their imagination with the sensibilities of society; only then is the true purpose of art fulfilled.”
In his address, Vice Chancellor Dr. Himanshu Aeran said, “Art is the soul of a nation. When our students use brushes and colors to convey their thoughts on canvas, they don’t just create paintings—they are shaping the cultural identity of future India. Subharti University always provides a platform for talents who want to bring positive change to society through their colors.”
Wishing the students good luck for their excellent paintings, he said, “Every line should reflect the truth of the soul, and every color should reflect the sensitivity of society.”

Dr. Atul Krishna, Founder Chairman of the Subharti Education Group, and Ms. Avani Kamal, Assistant Academic Director, also extended their special greetings at the event. Dr. Atul Krishna said, “Subharti’s identity is not just education, but also the shared pursuit of culture, art, and human values.” Ms. Avani Kamal said, “We continue to strive to develop art education as a bridge between modernity and tradition.”
On this occasion, the Vice Chancellor and guests provided art materials, including paints, bags, sketchbooks, pens, and other art materials to the students.
The program was ably conducted by Abhishek Tripathi, and at the end, the Head of the Fine Arts Department, Santosh Kumar, expressed his gratitude to all the guests.
