Subharti’s spirit of national service honored at the Culture Awakening Festival!
Subharti family honored with the “Maa Nanda Devi Seva Samman”; Subharti’s contribution to nation-building universally appreciated

On the occasion of the Culture Awakening Festival, a grand program filled with spiritual, cultural, and national consciousness was held at the Vanvasi Gurukul, ITITI Doon Culture School, located in Jhajhra, Dehradun. Under the auspices of the Shri Nanda Raj Jat Purva Peethika Samiti, Uttarakhand, the program specifically highlighted the country’s cultural heritage, tribal pride, national service, and national resolutions such as “Panch Parivartan.”
Alok Kumar, International President, Vishwa Hindu Parishad, delivered the keynote address at this prestigious event. Mahant Ravindra Puri Ji Maharaj, President, Rashtriya Akhara Parishad, presided over the program and highlighted the importance of cultural preservation and nationalism. Chief Patron Sahdev Pundir, Honorable MLA, Sahaspur, delivered an inspiring address. Special guests included Professor Dr. Himanshu Arain, Vice Chancellor of Subharti University; renowned artist Padmashree Basanti Bisht; Ajay, Joint Secretary of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad; Martolia, former Director General of Police, Uttarakhand; and a large number of representatives from the saint community and social organizations, academics, and distinguished guests from across the country.

During the program, special remembrance was paid to the immortal martyrs of the country—Darban Singh Negi, Gabar Singh Negi, Jaswant Singh Rawat, Dhan Singh Thapa, Major Vibhuti Dhoundiyal, and Major Chitresh Bisht—whose indomitable valor and patriotism are the proud identity of Uttarakhand.
On this auspicious occasion, the strong national character of the Subharti Education Group and its outstanding and exemplary contributions in the field of education and service were especially highlighted. The visionary leadership of the institute’s Founder Chairman, Dr. Atul Krishna, his dedication to national power, and his continuous service to the fields of education and medicine have established Subharti as a strong and exemplary institution across the country. The saints, guests, and committee present at the event described the Subharti family’s work as “incomparable, unique, and highly inspiring for the nation’s welfare.”
In recognition of Subharti’s unforgettable contributions, national spirit, and continuous service, the Subharti family was honored with this year’s “Maa Nanda Devi Seva Samman.” Professor Dr. Himanshu Aeran, Vice Chancellor of Ras Bihari Bose Subharti University, accepted this honor on behalf of Subharti.

Receiving the honor, Professor Dr. Himanshu Aeran said, “This honor is not only for the Subharti family, but also a blessing from the tradition of those national leaders and saints who showed service, education, and values as the path of life. The national spirit, vision, and service of our Founder President, Dr. Atul Krishna, are the hallmarks of Subharti. Under his guidance, Subharti Education and Medical Institute has always been dedicated to serving the country, society, and humanity and will continue to do so with this commitment in the future.”
The programme concluded with collective inspiration to give top priority to national service, cultural awakening and social welfare.
