Pir Syed Ashraf Hussain Qadri Urges People to Avoid DJs, Loud Sounds and Disorder

Dehradun, August 21: A meeting was held after Friday prayers at Ghausia Jama Masjid in Gandhi Gram to discuss arrangements for the successful and peaceful conduct of the Eid Milad-un-Nabi procession scheduled for August 26.
The meeting was chaired by Pir Syed Ashraf Hussain Qadri, Naib City Qazi (Ahle Sunnat) and State President of All India Muslim Jamaat.
Addressing the meeting, Pir Syed Ashraf Hussain Qadri appealed to the community to ensure that the Eid Milad-un-Nabi procession is conducted in an atmosphere of peace, communal harmony and discipline. He urged participants to avoid DJs, excessively loud sounds, unnecessary noise and any form of disorder during the procession.
He also stressed the importance of maintaining traffic discipline and cleanliness along the procession route and appealed to participants to ensure that roads remain free from congestion. He urged the community to extend full cooperation to the police and administration so that the procession could conclude peacefully.
Pir Syed Ashraf Hussain Qadri further appealed to Muslims not to bring young or older girls to the Eid Milad-un-Nabi procession, emphasizing the need to maintain simplicity, discipline and religious decorum.
He suggested using small sound systems instead of DJs, saying that the purpose of the procession is to celebrate the birth of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and spread his message of love, peace and brotherhood.
He also appealed to people to display only Eid Milad-un-Nabi-related flags at their homes and shops and advised against using flags that could resemble the flag of another country, particularly Pakistan.
Meanwhile, Maulana Mohammad Azam, Khatib and Imam of Ghausia Jama Masjid, Gandhi Gram, appealed to people to decorate mosques, homes and procession routes with lights while giving special attention to cleanliness.
The meeting was attended by Rashid Khan, Imtiyaz Ahmad, Nisar Ahmad, Amjad Ali, Shamim, Riyasat, Dr. Shabab Hussain, Noor Alam, Shahid and a large number of local residents.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the participants resolved to make the Eid Milad-un-Nabi procession an example of peace, discipline, communal harmony and mutual respect.
